Love is like the brutal, merciless sea.
It drags you deep down and ignores your plea.
It is quite beautiful on the surface,
But hides its true dark, hideous face.
It has taken and ruined many lives,
Downed them, stolen them, while the wind drives.
Love drives its victims to their destruction.
Their hearts can’t be brought to resurrection.
They will die with it broken and bleeding.
Breathing in water, all the while screaming.
Forgotten in the black depths, they will rot.
Shaking with strong sobs they wept, pain won’t stop.
